Who we are
The Korean Association of Health Care for People with Disabilities (KAHCPD)
is a professional agency that develops policies and practices for the Protection of Disabled Persons’ Health and Medical Accessibility Act. KAHCPD was founded by medical experts with firsthand experience in disabled persons’ care in 2017. A multidisciplinary and multi-institutional cooperative approach is required to address the health care issues of and more effective and widespread policies about people with disabilities. As a multidisciplinary professional organization, we set the aspirational goal of health and quality of life for people with disabilities and create extended networks of professionals who strive for an inclusive society.
